Chilled beam systems offer many benefits, including energy savings over the lifespan of a project, reduced duct sizing, lower noise levels and minimal required maintenance.
The goal of the chilled beams technology is to move the energy required to maintain a comfortable space condition from the air side (air handler) to the water side (chiller or boiler).
How does the chilled beam provide cooling through its water system?
SchwankAir Curtains create an effective seal by re-circulating the facility air in a smooth laminar flow across an open doorway. This creates an air seal, like a waterfall, that prevents leakage of air between two areas with different pressure and climate.
DuctSox SkeleCore Fabric Ductwork
SkeleCore utilizes an Internal Framework System to provide aesthetic enhancement and improved performance characteristics. There are two SkeleCore models to choose from, including FTS and Pull-Tight. A significant benefit of both is that the fabric system is tensioned the full circumference—360 degrees of tensioning!
The BlueDuct from AQC Industries is a direct-burial underground duct system made from ultra-durable, advanced HDPE (high-density polyethylene.) Tom Barrow has been representing BlueDuct since 2010, and the products are available at most of our locations across the Southeast.
