Water to air heat exchangers are one of the most common HVAC accessories for meeting zone-thermal comfort requirements. All water to air heat exchangers require a piping package for balancing, commissioning, straining, and regulating the coil fluid. Typical workflow requires the piping package components to be field assembled onto the unit upon delivery.
By allocating piping package mounting to the terminal unit manufacturer, engineers, contractors, and building owners can find significant cost and time savings.

Lithium compounds are highly hygroscopic and react with moisture in the air, producing hydrogen, lithium hydroxide and heat. This will adversely affect the quality, performance, and durability of a lithium battery. It is therefore vitally important that manufacturing is carried out in controlled environments with very low humidity.
Duct Furnaces
Duct furnaces are utilized for space heating applications when additional heat sources are needed. Reznor’s full line of duct furnaces can be customized for total heating system designs. The company’s gas-fired heating coils can be installed into an air handling unit to create a gas-powered heating section. They can also replace steam and hot water coils in existing units and plenum systems to enable changeover from a central boiler plant to decentralized gas-fired systems.
This month, Becky Bradshaw, TBCo Nashville Project Coordinator, reflects on 34 years with Tom Barrow Company. She began her career with TBCo as a receptionist while also assisting the quote department at a time when prices were figured by hand. She later led the quote department before moving to her current role as project coordinator.
